About Carolina Custom Cues

Carolina Custom Cues was founded by a team of people passionate about billiards and making a difference in the sport. Our team includes experienced craftsmen, pool players and business professionals. Together we are a small entrepreneurial team dedicated to serving our customers.

Traditions in American Design and Quality

Our underlying philosophy is to emulate the very highest standards and practices of the greatest American cue-makers. We specialize in spliced-butt designs – somewhat a lost art except for a very few custom cue-makers. We also produce modern inlaid or floating-point cue designs.

We have invested in state-of-the-art computer controlled equipment and UV finishing to enable repeatable and precise components, intricate decorative inlays and durable finishes. In the fall of 2005, we moved into our new facility in Denver NC, just north of Charlotte.

Players as well as Cue Makers

Our team understands the art and science of cue-making from the player's perspective. Our cue-makers are also pool players. We know there is no substitute for time spent at the table. We also know that a poor-playing cue can take us 'off our game', seriously jeopardizing performance. There is no doubt that a well-playing cue will improve results.

We will not send a cue that we are not proud to own: "When in doubt, it doesn't go out" !

Our inlay designs are created in-house with our master cue designer Tim. Chris and Tom provide precision parts. Their support is huge! Together we will continue to improve the quality and design of our products.
